David Breen's U19s continued their recent good form last Saturday when they travelled to The Golden Ball in Kilternan, Co. Dublin and came away with a very well deserved point after a robust encounter with Bray Wanderers.
Despite a poor enough first half during which they created very little, a share of the spoils was no more than they deserved thanks to an impressive showing after the break when they carried the game to the home side for long periods.
Bray took the lead 15 minutes after the break when the Blues failed to clear properly from a corner but the home side they paid the price for excessive tackling shortly before the end when Michael Carroll was upended out wide on the left. Justin Croke sent in the resultant free kick and Dara Keane's header found the bottom corner of the net to level for the Blues..
Well done Davie, Paul and all the lads. Keep up the good work.
C'mon the Blues!
