The Blues' Matt Connor wasn't the only keeper in form last Friday. At the other end of the field Athlone keeper Igor Labuts gave a very good account of himself, pulling off some very fine saves. An athletic lad and a good shot stopper, he foiled the Blues on numerous occasions, in particular Mark O'Sullivan who could easily have scored another couple on top of the two he did get. Labuts has the making of very good keeper in the League of Ireland if can learn how to stop acting like a prick with his eccentric carry on, his time wasting, lying down and showmanship. not many keepers manage to foul the opposition keeper but he did at the RSC last Friday, a few minutes from the end.
