A Satisfying Win

After the debacle at Tolka Park, this was more like it from the Blues against a totally lacklustre Ramblers who were showing all the signs of a team willing the season to end. At least we have a mini-battle with Cabinteely for bottom spot (amazing how an addict always looks for an angle) and this victory took us away from bottom place. We have to be fearful however as the fixtures on the last day favour the Dubliners - they're home to Athlone whereas we've got the more competent UCD. I guess it very much depends which Blues team turns up.

Tonight's victory was well-earned and was nice to watch- we completely dominated and just when you felt our lack of an out and out striker was going to cost us dearly, Aaron O'Connor came on and with two deft contributions gave Cory Galvin the opportunity to seal the victory with two late goals. So one game to go, next Saturday and then the long wait until March and the commencement of a new season which is going to be the one!
